Premier Financial Credit Union announces 2026 Board of Directors
At its 64th Annual Membership Meeting on April 15, 2026, members of Premier Financial Credit Union elected three local citizens to three open positions on the Board of Directors. They include:
- Tom Mueller
- Tre Waldren
- Sandy Burg
Mueller has served on the Board since 2016. Waldren has served on the Board since 2021. Burg has served on the Board since 2008.
Other members of the Board of Directors include:
- Al Schmitz
- Julie Schoenborn
- Shane Peik
- Cheri Reedy
The Board of Directors elected the following officers: Mueller to serve as Chairperson, Waldren to serve as Vice Chairperson, Burg to serve as Secretary, and Schmitz to serve as Treasurer.
The credit union’s directors are elected from among the credit union’s membership by fellow account holders, each of whom has one vote regardless of account balances or loans amounts.
Because credit unions have no shareholders, local citizens are elected to credit union boards to represent the best interests of the membership. Credit unions put people before profits and fulfil their mission of improving the financial well-being of the community they serve by helping members save and borrow.
